Hi, I'm Kerry.

I fell in love with photography as a teenager and for years, it was just a hobby.  Over the last 27 years, I've gained experience photographing my travels, my family, my friends, and a wide variety of events. In 2024, I decided to turn my very favorite hobby into something more.

I'm a trained archivist and frequently work with historical photos, which hold a special place in my heart. Handling and identifying images of people and places that are long gone has given me a unique view on why photographs are such an important and powerful medium.

Eudora Welty wrote in her memoir that "life doesn't hold still. A good snapshot stopped a moment from running away. Photography taught me that to be able to capture transience, by being ready to click the shutter at the crucial moment, was the greatest need I had." I couldn't agree more.
